Drive Revenue
The goal of any living organism is to survive. (We aren’t talking about barely existing. Survival is a gradient scale from near death at one end to extreme abundance at the other).
For a business, survival depends on driving revenue.
A business drives revenue by the creation of valuable products for exchange.
Exchange requires a valuable product and the positive attention of those who want or need the product. This positive attention is achieved through promotion.
Promotion is any activity that makes something well-known and well thought of.
As the business learns to create valuable products and to promote them it is necessary to throw out and prohibit things which don’t create valuable products and don’t result in promotion. Conversely, it is necessary to keep in those things which DO by making them policy and watching them. This is Organization.
It provides the basis for fast expansion.
